Since our inception, we have supported hundreds of individuals and families through awareness campaigns, wellbeing programmes, family support services, advocacy work, volunteering opportunities, and community-led initiatives.Our work has been recognised through several awards and achievements, including:

Family Unit Trust is an award-winning charity dedicated to strengthening families, improving wellbeing, tackling health inequalities, and supporting individuals facing life’s most challenging circumstances.
Founded by Margaret Faith Edet following her family’s experiences with childhood cancer and the loss of her mother to Stage 4 Metastatic Endometrial Cancer, the organisation was created to ensure that no family faces illness, hardship, isolation, or crisis alone.
Today, Family Unit Trust works across Greater Manchester and beyond, supporting children, young people, adults, families, carers, and communities through a range of programmes designed to improve wellbeing, increase resilience, and create lasting positive change.

Activities and Events
Undertaking activities to provide information and raise awareness of the nature, causes, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of all forms of cancer, promoting early diagnosis and cure.
Practical Assistance
Providing practical assistance, support, services and items of equipment, both directly and through the provision of grants of finance assistance, to people affected by cancer.
Promoting Research
Promoting research into all forms of cancer, the useful results of which shall be published for the public benefit.
